  • HPC Tool Support Engineer
  • HPC Tool Integration Developer

Job Description for HPC tool support engineer

  • Supporting world-wide customer through the following mean
    • Phone support (24x5 for urgent task, 8x5 for normal task)
    • E-mail and Ticket base support
  • Working time: 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Actual working time may change according to customer requirement.
  • Engineer will need to response to customer request according to SLA specification.
  • For urgent case, engineer may need to response outside working time.
  • Engineer will require to come to office at least 1 day a week. Other than that, the engineer can work remotely through Internet.
  • Company will house and provides the following facility available remotely in the Internet for the engineer
    • 1 Server machine for Virtual Machine testbed.
    • 1 Laptop
    • 1 Hotline-phone. Company will provide monthly fee for the phone (engineer must maintain the call records)
    • Company will pay for international distant call, if needed
  • Company will provide 3 months training in Thailand to train engineer to handle the job.
  • Engineer will need to provide weekly and monthly report to Company.

Qualification for HPC tool support engineer

  • Bachelor degree or better in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering or equivalent.
  • Able to communicate in English fluently, in both writing and speaking.
  • At least 4 years of administrator experience in the following Linux operating system platform.
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
    • SuSE Enterprise Linux.
  • Familiarity with HPC (High Performance Computing) cluster technology in the following topics. 2-3 years experiences would be advantages.
    • HPC Cluster concept.
    • HPC Cluster installation.
    • Related HPC Cluster software, such as workload scheduling system, monitoring system, parallel programming environment.

Job Description for HPC tool integration developer

  • Work closely with oversea international company developing HPC integration with PBS Pro software
  • Testing & QA software on multiple platforms
  • Working time: 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. 9:00 - 18:00
  • Company will house and provides the following facility available remotely in the Internet for the engineer
    • 1 Server machine for Virtual Machine testbed.
    • 1 Laptop
    • Company will pay for international distant call, if needed
  • Company will provide 1-2 months training in Thailand to train engineer to handle the job.

Qualification for HPC tool integration developer

  • Bachelor degree or better in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering or equivalent.
  • Able to communicate in English fluently, in both writing and speaking.
  • 1-2 years experience in software development using Python language.
  • Familiarity with HPC (High Performance Computing) cluster technology in the following topics. 2-3 years experiences would be advantages.
    • HPC Cluster concept.
    • HPC Cluster installation.
  • Related HPC Cluster software, such as workload scheduling system, monitoring system, parallel programming environment.
  • Familiarity with PBS (Portable Batch System) will be advantages.
